Year 6 – Showing respect to others

We have continued to explore our curriculum and embrace new learning. Multiplication has been our focus in maths this week and we have spent time writing to our reception buddies as well as reflecting through artwork and meditation on the importance of spending time with God. Hattie, William and Mia shared their Prayer and Liturgy with our class as well as Year 2. They thought about the importance of respect and friendship and how we can show respect to others.

Next week we have our community bingo on Wednesday morning at 10:00am until 11:15am. It would be great to welcome any family members that fancy a game of bingo! If someone in your family is able to come please let Mrs Wiggins know in the office so we can set up before hand.

Just a reminder that the deadline to apply to high school is 31st October 2022 via the Lancashire County Council website.  Some schools also require you to complete an additional Faith form, copies of which you can get from the school you are applying to.  If anybody has any questions about the process, please do get in touch and I will help in any way that I can.

Have a lovely weekend with your families.
