Thank you to everyone for coming to parents evening this week, it was a real pleasure to share all the positive things that your children have been doing in class so far this year,
We have had another busy week in Hazel class!
During our computing lesson on Monday, we explored the different buttons on the BeeBots and used commands to move them forwards, backwards, left and right. We have also started to learn about Victorians, writing down our questions about what we would like to know – my favourite being ‘Did they have WIFI?’. In our English lessons, we have continued to read the Stinky Cheeseman and have even started to innovate our stories, including our own characters. Our maths lessons have focused on our addition and subtracting strategies – these can be found on our Maths Curriculum page.
Kiara – I have enjoyed completing the spelling quiz.
Aaisha – I have really like reading the Stinky Cheeseman story.
Kaleesi – I enjoyed including my own characters in my own Stinky Cheeseman story.
Ethan – I have enjoyed adding and subtracting using my cubes.
Finley – I liked doing the wake and shake and also running around our school track each morning.
Abdullah – I liked playing with the BeeBots and making them go in different directions.
Muhammad – I really enjoyed practicing my handwriting with Mrs Noonan.
Muhammad – I enjoyed sharing our stories with our friends.
