It has been such a busy first week in Elder class and we have been impressed with how quickly the children have settled into their new routines and ways of working. We are already a couple of chapters into our fantasy novel ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’ by Philip Pullman and in maths we have worked extremely hard on deepening our understanding of place value. We finished off our week with a visit from Nora, Alvina, Anto and Jen from the Seekers club. We had fun singing action songs and completing puzzles in our groups.
