On Tuesday this week, we started our WWI topic off with a visit from a specialist, who taught us all this part of history. Dressed as a Sargent, he taught the children drills and put them through their paces as a soldier! We learn about the living conditions in the trenches, their uniform, food and weapons. The children represented the countries involved in the war and we learnt all about the British allies and enemies. We are now ready to dive deeper into WWI and discover more about our History.
