What a great day we have had on our trip to Beacon Fell. We climbed to the top of the world to look at everything far and wide even bumping into Hazel class! We used directional language and the arrows on sign posts along with the help of a magic fairy that shone on the trees helping guide us the way to go to find the Gruffalo and all the characters from the story. We collected lots of exciting things and discovered new things about the forest environment. After a lot of walking our lunch was just what we needed before going to read the book and use the last of our energy on the trim trail. It has been a great day and I’m sure there are lots of children early to bed tonight.
