What a super busy week we have had with a trip out to Beacon Fell, Dads coming to play cricket with us, Mass and everything else we do on a normal day 😳 I’m sure next week will be another busy week so have a good rest this weekend 😌
This week we have continued thinking about the coastline, exploring what can be found in the sea and on beaches. We have looked and did some relaxation thinking about a nice peaceful beach holiday. As part of this we created our own seaside town thinking of all the things we would like there. We have learnt more descriptive language whilst exploring different shells thinking about their shape, size and texture.
At Beacon Fell everyone did so well walking to find the characters from the Gruffalo, other forest animals and learning about the trees and plant life that is in the forest.
What a great afternoon we had on Thursday when some of our dads were able to join us for a game of cricket and a play in the garden for Father’s Day. We hope all dads have a lovely day on Sunday with their families.
