This week we went to visit Ladyewell Shrine as part of October, the month of the Rosary. We looked at the different statues and places to pray and learned that lots of people go there on pilgrimage to pray to Our Lady. The children enjoyed discussing how this holy and special place made them feel.
Over the next 2 weeks we are going to be focusing on our health and wellbeing. We had a short walk outside in nature on our trip to Ladyewell. Walking outdoors is a great way to exercise but is also a super way to clear our minds and support our mental health. Next Wednesday, 11th October, we will be making a healthy snack. We hope to share this snack with our parents at the end of the school day at 3pm. It will be a chance to share healthy, easy to make food but also to just spend time with each other.
