We began the week learning about the meaning of of the Advent wreath in RE. Today, Father Stephen visited Elder class and blessed our Advent wreath. We asked him to light the first candle of Hope and the children shared what they knew about Advent following on from yesterday’s lesson. Thank you Father Stephen, we look forward to lighting the second candle with you in class next week. This afternoon we listened to a group of children share their Advent prayer and liturgy with class and reflected on this special time of year.
