Although, we have had a busy week, we have thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas preparations.
On Monday afternoon, we walked over to Church for Confession with Fr Steven and Fr John Mark – this allowed us time to prepare ourselves for Jesus’ arrival. It was a very peaceful afternoon and definitely gave us time to reflect and regain calmness, amongst all of the Christmas chaos!
On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to watch Little Sapling’s Nativity play – in which we all had a staring role, as narrators. This was certainly a highlight of our week. Even Blu was part of the production, as the donkey!
On Wednesday, we completed our sock puppets, as part of our WWII make do and mend DT topic – they are looking great and show off our developing sewing skills. The children have loved this topic and can’t wait to share their creations with you at home.
On Thursday, we visited the Duke’s Theatre in Lancaster, to watch Robin Hood. They cast did not disappoint – what a fantastic pantomime!
Finally on Friday, we had great fun taking part in the Santa Danceathon!!!
What a week!!!!
