This week we have been preparing an exciting exhibition of our artwork. We have learnt all about galleries and guides. We would like to invite you all to our gallery opening! We will send you an invite next week for our after school event. So please look out for the invitation. I will also send a text message with more details shortly. We have also been learning how to halve numbers. We learnt a great halving song called ‘Chip the Chopper’ so please ask your child to share it with you! We have been learning all about minibeasts using non-fiction texts. We learnt to use the contents page to find answers to our questions about ladybirds and bees.
I have put new keyrings in some children’s bags so please work with your child to memorise the new words. Just a reminder that the maths homework is to be completed once a week and it is not designed to be difficult but to prepare the children for what they will receive when they are in year one.
