Over the previous few weeks, the children in Beech Class have been working together in small groups to plan their Explorers dance routine. They were explorers on the moon, in a rainforest, in the ocean and in a desert and after much collaboration, they performed their dance to the class. In Maths, we have been revising fractions of shapes and finding fractions of amounts. The children are getting really good at remembering the terminology of numerator and denominator! Finally, after several weeks of thoroughly enjoying the story of The Wind in the Willows, the children have been writing their own animal adventure story – we can’t wait to read them.
