We had a great week for World Book Day thinking about big numbers and exploring books connected to them. With our 101 Dalmatian we had fun counting our spots, hunting for them and creating more. We had fun with a penguin investigating how big is a million? we helped a centipede count how many pairs of socks and shoes he needed  and used addition to work out how many legs were at a birthday party and how much money was needed for the shopping basket. Our great week of big numbers ended with a nice story with hot chocolate and marshmallows by our Friday campfire
