St. Clare's Crib
08 January 2019
Today, we went to Church and we were greeted by Fr Andrew. As we entered the church, we saw the giant crib. The stable had ivy on the roof and Mary and Joseph were inside, along with baby Jesus, the three Kings (Gaspar, Balthasar, and Melchior) and the shepherds. It was an amazing sight. Asher C7 Today, we learnt about the crib at Church. Fr Andrew took us deep into the meaning of the crib, telling us about the shepherds and the wise men. We got to tell the class who we would want to be at the nativity scene and give the reasons behind our answers. Isaac C7

We also had chance to complete our diaries from the view point of either Mary, Joseph or the Donkey...they make a funny but thought provoking read! Have a great Christmas Year 6!

Preparing the way!
05 December 2018
What a busy couple of days we have had! We had our Key Stage Two Advent service on Monday evening which was a great way to start the season of Advent. All children in Key Stage Two took part to reflect on the importance of making way for God in our hearts as we prepare for the birth of Jesus. Year Six then joined our cluster of schools last night at Saint Gregory's Church to come together as a local community and think about the importance of joining together to spread peace, love, joy and hope.
