WOW week - w/c 6th July
02 July 2020
We have been busy preparing another WOW week for you all to enjoy at home, starting from Monday 6th July. This time we have decided to celebrate and learn all about 'PRESTON'. The activities have been split up into five categories, we would like you to select at least one activity from each area - one for each day of the week. We have made suggestions as to how information can to presented, however don't be restricted by these - feel free to be creative in your learning & celebrations. There will be no purple mash set this week, giving you all chance to catch up on prior learning and relax a little. Don't forget we would love to see what you have been up to, so email your class teachers some of your favourite pieces of work, on your class emails. Enjoy!

It was wonderful, Class 6, to see most of you again in school this week! As we were sitting together, outside in the warm sunshine, it felt such a special place to be. Each one of you listened so sensitively and with genuine warmth and interest as friends shared their experiences and feelings .Afterwards, it was just as lovely to see you laugh together as we played team games on the field. We feel fortunate to have the chance to spend time with you again and proud of the class you have become. We're already looking forward to seeing you again next week. Until then, keep doing your best and thinking of others. Mrs. Brennan & Miss Harrison

Thank you to all of you who have sent in messages and pictures to show how busy and imaginative you have been at home this week. We have been happy to hear how much you have enjoyed our 'Wow' week on the 'Best of British' theme. It is heartening to know so many of you have thoroughly embraced this opportunity to learn in a more practical and creative way. Next week sees the opportunity for everyone to return to school for half a day. We have missed each and every one of you over the last few months and so we are delighted to have the chance to see you again and finally have Class 6 back together again. Take care and see you soon! Mrs Brennan and Miss Harrison
Welcome back to School Class 6
18 June 2020
Dear Class 6, I am so excited that Governors agreed to work with your families so that you all come to spend some time in school with your friends and staff before the end of the school year. The last couple of months have been very different and difficult, especially having to work from home. How lovely it will be to see you all in school over the next few weeks. I know you will read the information carefully below and I look forward to seeing you. Take care, Mrs. Charnley
We're so proud of you, Class 6!
12 June 2020
Once again, we have been amazed with the photos you have emailed in to us, Class 6, from PE kit designs to artwork on the theme of "We are the Church". Your work on Purple Mash showed good understanding of how to organise a debate and it's great to see such high scores on your Monster Multiplication game today! Thanks to those of you who sent in recordings for the virtual choir at today's Blessed Sacrament Procession; we knew we had some lovely voices in Class 6 and we're pleased and proud you shared them with us again this afternoon. Enjoy next week's more creative approach with our 'Best of British' week and most importantly, stay safe and happy. Mrs Brennan & Miss Harrison
WOW week - w/c 15th June

This week in school would have been our WOW week, so we have planned things differently to give you all chance to breathe and celebrate. We have planned lots of fun and creative activities for you to do around the theme - 'The Best of British'. Select at least one activity from each box to complete throughout the week and then email through your favourite pieces to your class teacher on your class email address. Hope you have fun exploring Britain and we can't wait to see your creative work. No additional Purple Mash work will be set for this week, giving you chance to catch up on any outstanding work you may have. Take care and enjoy!

Class 6 Home Learning 2nd June - 12th June
02 June 2020
We hope you've had a fantastic half-term break, Class 6! Ideally, you've had time to rest and play after all your hard work before the week's holiday. We still miss you such a lot in school but it's truly wonderful to see all the exciting activities you have been doing at home and of course, to see all the effort you are putting into the work set on Purple Mash. We have attached your next set of home learning so you can keep up the excellent work! We're proud of you and we know you can keep doing this. Remember to be kind and take some time for yourself to do the things that make you happy. Keep safe, Mrs. Brennan & Miss Harrison
