Yoked with Jesus!
06 July 2020
Sunday's Gospel from St Matthew is lovely and simple for us all to understand. A yoke was used to ensure that two animals worked together under the direction of the master, hence the reference here. Jesus is our teacher and He guides us. Jesus makes it clear that He promises to lead us gently and humbly and that the load will be light. By simply following His path our lives can be simple.
It's the weekend!

Well Class 7, I have had another fantastic week spending time with most of you and catching up on what you have been up to at home. I have loved looking through your home learning (I still have lots to get to) and seeing what amazing things you have been up to at home. You really should be very proud of yourselves. I hope you all have a lovely, relaxing weekend and you are able to get out and about weather depending! Next week brings another WOW week which was posted on the class blog yesterday. I hope you enjoy all the activities that have been planned and I can't wait to see some of the things you get up to (firstname.lastname@example.org). Take care Mrs B & Blu
WOW week - w/c 6th July
02 July 2020
We have been busy preparing another WOW week for you all to enjoy at home, starting from Monday 6th July. This time we have decided to celebrate and learn all about 'PRESTON'. The activities have been split up into five categories, we would like you to select at least one activity from each area - one for each day of the week. We have made suggestions as to how information can to presented, however don't be restricted by these - feel free to be creative in your learning & celebrations. There will be no purple mash set this week, giving you all chance to catch up on prior learning and relax a little. Don't forget we would love to see what you have been up to, so email your class teachers some of your favourite pieces of work, on your class emails. Enjoy!
Be a light for all to see!
01 July 2020
What does this mean to you? Have a think about it ..... Does it mean to set a good example through your actions? Does it mean to live your life in the image of Christ? What about being kind? Treating others as you would want to be treated? Do you have some other ideas? Are you being that light for others to see? I certainly think that you are - I have been so proud of how hard to you are working at home and how much effort you are putting into each aspect of your learning - I have attached some examples of your fab work to this blog. Is there any aspect of your live that you could work on? Could you shine brighter?
Another week, another opportunity to shine!

I am feeling very thankful this afternoon. It has been so lovely seeing you this week, catching up on what you have been up to and watching the joy on your faces whilst spending time with your friends. I can't wait to see you all again next week!!!! For all those that didn't come in to school, I know that you are all doing great at home, as I have been emailing your parents (another thing for us to be grateful for - our lovely parents). We missed you all, but I know that we will be all back together before we know it! I am blessed to have such a fantastic class. I have attached some of your amazing work from this week to this blog too. I have been blown away by your determination and dedication. Click on the blog to check them out. Take a moment

How many of you have noticed the birds singing in the back garden? Things have been a little quieter - not as many cars driving by - and it has given us chance to hear the beautiful nature that is all around us. God's creations! It has been so calming to just sit for a few moments and listen to their song. As life starts to speed up again, lets make time to listen.
Class 7 Home Learning 22nd June - 3rd July
22 June 2020
Good morning Class 7! I hope you enjoyed the WOW week activities last week and you are ready to get back to some Maths and English! We have a really exciting topic in English over the next two weeks - I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I have attached all of the Maths worksheets and answers below too. You can still visit White Rose to watch the daily videos. You will notice that there are only four days on the plan, this is because you will be in school on the other day, with me. If you are not in school, then you have a little bit of time to catch up, complete some more activities from last week that you didn't get round too or even do a bit of extra reading. Don't forget to log on to Purple Mash for your daily Topic activities too, I will post tasks each day for you to do through out the week. I am so proud of how hard you are all working at home and remember to complete what is manageable. Remember it is really important to do some exercise each day - walk the dog, play football, go on a bike ride .... and it is also really important to make time for some relaxation too - what ever that may be! I look forward to hearing from you via our class email - email@example.com and hopefully seeing some of you this week too. Take care Mrs Bridgeman

18 June 2020
Dear Class 7, I am so excited that Governors agreed to work with your families so that you all come to spend some time in school with your friends and staff before the end of the school year. The last couple of months have been very different and difficult, especially having to work from home. How lovely it will be to see you all in school over the next few weeks. I know you will read the information carefully below and I look forward to seeing you. Take care, Mrs. Charnley
