Yesterday, I was skyping my mum in her nursing home (can you believe how technical I was!!!!). I spoke to one of the managers there and she informed me they have received your letters! The staff and residents were overwhelmed by your kindness! Well done everyone for bringing a smile to so many faces. I am so proud of you all.
Well done everyone!

Thank you to all the children that have completed their work on Purple Mash this week it is so nice to see you keeping busy and continuing to learn! Don't worry if you can't save your work properly. Some tasks will only give you a score and others will save your work into the class folder or your own folder once you have completed without giving you an option to hand it in. We can still usually see that you have completed the work. Keep it up!

Hope you are all finding time each day to do a bit of exercise. I look forward to see your exercise plans and giving some of them a go. What else have you been doing to keep active? Anyone joining in with Jo Wicks' for his daily workout? Try setting yourself a challenge whilst your off school - how many keepie uppies you can do in a minute? - Isaac, Jack, Emily and Kara. How many back flips you can you do? - Amelia, Shreya and Emma. How many throws and catches with a rugby ball can you do without dropping it? - Betsy and Zach. Email me on email@example.com and let me know your achievements.

Spring has arrived!
26 March 2020
What a beautiful day it was yesterday, and it looks like it will be sunny again today too! I think Spring has arrived. New life is starting to spring up around us. Can you see any trees starting to buds? Can you hear the birds singing? Blossom trees blowing in the wind? Daffodils brightening up the garden? Take a moment in your day to notice the beautiful world around us!
Year 5 and 6 Letters
25 March 2020
Thank you to Year 5 and 6 for writing letters, on Friday, for friends and family members who are stuck at home or in local nursing homes. The letters were posted over the weekend and they should be arriving any day. A great act of kindness - well done! I think Mrs Charnley will need to stock up on her hot chocolate and biscuits for when we return to school!
