What a fabulous day we had at Brockholes and luckily the weather stayed fine! When we arrived we had a look at the different habitats there are at Brockholes and tried to spot some animals on the lake. We saw a heron, a tern, swans and even some baby coots!
We then walked around to the woodland where we went on a hunt for creatures which was lots of fun! We got bonus points for spotting mushrooms too.
After our picnic lunch we used our map skills to find The Deep Dark Wood with only one wrong turn. When we arrived we created our own maps using what we could find in the wood. We finished off our day on the play area.
