Busy, busy,busy

Little Saplings have had another busy week. We started the week looking at internet safety helping characters from fairy tales understand what to do if they see or hear anything they don’t feel is kind or makes scary when on different types of technology.

We have had a great week learning more about the Islamic faith with 5 of our children talking to us about their faith including about what they do when at Mosque school, when their family goes to mosque, daily routines and virtues. The wealth of information from them all has been great and all have enjoyed the time learning more about our friends. Each day we have had a different story which has supported our learning.

This half term in PE we have been working on our ball skills rolling, throwing and catching. This week we have practised with Blu coming for a visit.I think he was a little tired after playing catch with us for an afternoon!

Our outdoor learning this week focused on helping others with our story being Farmer Duck a favourite of ours and making the most amazing bread in our campfire. We had lots of discussion about the texture of the dough making sure it was just right. We needed the dough using the skills we work on in our dough gym sessions. We rescued a large piece of wood from our fire last week which when dried we have broken up and used as charcoal for our mark making.

Thank you to Willow class for sharing with us your Tiffin you made it was delicious ????
