What a busy first week back after the half term we have had!
In Science this week we have been learning about a balanced diet, what it is and how we can eat balanced meals. We had lots of fun sorting all different food packets into what we thought were healthy or unhealthy foods then created our own balanced plate.
We have been trying to place numbers in the correct place on different number lines in Maths. We played against each other to identify what numbers our partners had placed on a 0-100 line.
We began our Lent journey by celebrating mass together as a school for Ash Wednesday and learning about this special day from the Year 6 children who came to share prayer and liturgy with us.
We have learnt all about Keith Haring in art ready to create our own artwork in his style.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Just a reminder that it is World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March – the children have been asked to come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book. We also have a book cafe in the morning and a parade around the track at 3pm. For more details please see the weekly newsletter.
