What a great first week back we have had after our Easter break and the sun shining was a great feeling with us being able to have our first picnic lunch of the summer term. We have more children who have joined us who are settling in and learning all life in Saplings class has to offer. Â May I remind everyone our PE in the hall is now on a Tuesday and children need to make sure they have suitable clothing and footwear to change into. Without this they will be unable to take part using the equipment.
We had a great time listening to Tracey from the Creepy Crawly Roadshow telling us all about the creatures she brought and WOW how brave were the children in touching and handling them. Â We have continued to learn throughout the week about what they eat, where they live and other mini beasts we see around in our local environment.
In maths we have been learning about the days of the week and all the things that very hungry caterpillar ate as well as rotation of shapes with the story green lizards and red rectangles.
