Elder class have thoroughly enjoyed turning their own sequels to the fantasy story The Firework Maker’s Daughter by Philip Pulman into books. Everyone has carefully copied out their story in chapters, taking into account suggestions and corrections, to create their very own book. The children have then illustrated their book covers with eye-catching pictures from their story and written persuasive blurbs on the back cover. The books are now in our class reading area for the children to share. The only problem is in deciding which book to read next! Well done Elder class!
