This week in Beech the children really enjoyed using feely bags to guess what 2D or 3D shapes were inside. They used their mathematical vocabulary to describe the properties of the shape they could feel before naming it. It was great fun finding out if they were correct!
In English we have begun to read our new text, The Wind in the Willows, and we are now getting really good at using dictionaries to find definitions of words we are unsure of.
In geography we are continuing to learn about Australia, naming some territories and capital cities.
