First Aid in Year 6!

I am not sure where the time is going..we have been working hard on our production and have managed a full run through! Next week we will start to think about making props, backgrounds and adding live music to the performance. We have also been busy completing and evaluating our Punch and Judy shows, working on our science electricity topic and have  managed to fit in our end of year assessments.

Today has been a really busy day with our First Aid course this morning and Blessed Sacrament Procession this afternoon. We had great comments from the instructors about how well the children listened and took part in all the activities. They really are great role models for our school.

I have continued the transition meetings with the different High Schools this week. I am so proud of all the children as they meet the staff from their new schools and ask such mature questions. We are also thinking about the transition to high school in class and will continue to do so over the next couple of weeks.

As we venture into the final half term together, there will be lots of opportunities for the children to reflect on their life here but also to look forward to their new high school. Please keep in touch with me if there is anything you need to discuss or need support with.

Have a great weekend and I shall see you all on Monday morning.
