Our birthdays are special days and at Little Saplings we celebrate with our friends by making a birthday cake together. This month we have celebrated 3 birthdays where the children have worked hard learning what is needed to create a cake and about weighing and measuring. We can look at our balance scales knowing if our ingredients balance, if we have too much/less of something making it too heavy/light.
