This week Year 6 have had a very important job! They have been writing to previous staff members and priests of Saint Clare’s to let them know that school is turning 50 this year! I have been so impressed with the maturity in their writing and the individual progress they are making each week. They have been applying these skills to other areas across the curriculum, ensuring they are always working to their best ability! We have also been busy preparing for our Harvest service which was a great success this afternoon. Well done to all those who read, sang, acted and helped behind the scenes to pull it all together.
Next week we have our community bingo on Wednesday morning at 10:00am until 11:15am. It would be great to welcome any family members that fancy a game of bingo! If someone in your family is able to come please let Mrs Wiggins know in the office so we can set up before hand.
Just a reminder that the deadline to apply to high school is 31st October 2021 via the Lancashire County Council website. Some schools also require you to complete an additional Faith form, copies of which you can get from the school you are applying to. If anybody has any questions about the process, please do get in touch and I will help in any way that I can.
