Over the last couple of weeks, Cherry class have been reading a beautiful book called ‘The Matchbox Diary’. We have used this as inspiration when writing a non chronological report about ‘Moving to America’ in the 1920’s. The children have spent a lot of time researching and gathering information about our subject and the features of non chronological reports. This week, they started by writing a persuasive introduction, followed by the rest of the text. Today, they edited their work and made the some finishing touches in order to complete their final piece. I am sure you will agree their hard work has paid off.
