Music
Our music curriculum ensures that the children experience a wide variety of music from different cultures, in different styles and by different composers. This ensures that children have the broadest musical experience.
They express themselves through the playing of Instruments, and by creating their own compositions. Music is an essential part of our curriculum.
Children have opportunities to develop rhythm in samba, performance in the Preston Music Festival, productions in school and liturgy within our parish. All enrich the children experiences, talent and love music. Under the watchful eye of the specialist teaching we offer here in music.
We take an active role in performance to give children opportunity to develop their confidence as they develop through school. The children have enjoyed taking park in the Preston Schools Music Festival and the Sing Together Concert at King Georges Hall in Blackburn.
