Willow class have enjoyed a very busy week with the start of our new history topic about The Great Fire of London. The children have been comparing London now and London in 1666. In design and technology we have been practicing our cutting and sticking skills by making a model of a 17th century house. We are all enjoying the story of Zog and have been thinking of questions we would like to ask him. This week the children have been very enthusiastic in mathematics and have enjoyed creating repeating patterns, looking at odd and even numbers, sorting number shapes by their own criteria and counting quantities in 2s.
