What a fantastic week we have had in Hazel class. not only have we written our own Snail and the Whale stories, including our own characters, we’ve also been learning about place value and partitioning numbers.
In science we have been learning about body parts and have had great fun labelling our bodies. We have made our own crosses in RE and spoken about where we see them in church and the importance of making the sign of the cross during our prayers.
and last but not least – Our community event –
We have been busy all week completing challenges every day to raise money for the Baby Beat charity. We have been running around the track (10 times!!!), a penalty shootout against Mrs Mills, football rounders, basketball and we even managed a sponsored silence for 30 whole minute (it was bliss!!!).
Please send in any sponsorship forms and money in by the w/c 16th October and we shall forward this onto the Baby Beat charity. Thank you everyone for your generosity. Have a lovely weekend.
