What a busy half term we have ahead of us. Our production rehearsals have started and the children have launched themselves into it with great enthusiasm. The children have also been busy this week, preparing their Punch and Judy shows as well as working on leaflets to tell Year 5 all about their week at Borwick Hall. It has been so good to hear the children talking so positively about their experiences on residential. It was such a great week for the children and I have already seen a great increase in confidence and the way that they are working together in class.
We are putting together a DVD with all the pictures of from Borwick Hall – please order by next Friday (18th June) via parent pay.
Year 6 hoodies will be sent home this evening. Children can wear them with their school uniform, until we close in the summer, instead of their usual school jumper. You can find our half term overview on our class page with all the information for this half term. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to be in contact with me in school.
I have started the transition meetings with the different High Schools this week and the children have started to have the opportunity to meet staff from the High School that they will be going to. This will continue over the next few weeks as part of the transition process.
As we venture into the final half term together, there will be lots of opportunities for the children to reflect on their life here but also to look forward to their new high school. Please keep in touch with me if there is anything you need to discuss or need support with.
Have a great weekend and I shall see you all on Monday morning.

P.s. – Please can the children wear their PE kit on Thursday next week not Friday.
