Over the last couple of weeks, Cherry class have been learning all about St Peter and St Paul, as it is their feast day on 29th of June. On Thursday afternoon, the children used scripture to learn more about St Peter and his relationship with Jesus. We also, discussed our opinions and compared our responses.
Our Year 5 prayer leaders planned and delivered a Prayer and Liturgy to Yr4, 5 & 6 on Monday, about being thankful to God. They asked the children to write down what they are thankful for and to make a paper chain that could be displayed on our class altars. The prayer leaders worked really hard and did a fantastic job creating a prayerful atmosphere. Two of our Year 5 prayer leaders, worked alongside the Year 4 prayer leaders to start preparing their own Prayer and Liturgies ready for the next couple of weeks.
Finally, this afternoon we took part in our annual Blessed Sacrament Procession. It was lovely to see so many parents / carers join us for this celebration.
