Cherry class have had a very musical week – in PE we are learning and putting together a World War dance with the help of Rachel, our dance instructor. The children have looked at the different elements of dance, learnt some key parts and had the opportunity to put together their own moves too. The children are thoroughly enjoying the music and the different styles of dance.
We have also had our second visit from Let’s Go Sing, in preparation for the concert in Blackburn in March. It takes such a lot of time and practice to prepare for the final performance. The songs this year do not disappoint – full of actions, rhythm and lots of enthusiasm from the children too. The children sang their hearts out and I was really proud of how they conducted themselves with music teacher.
