South American Food Bishop Fund day

During this half term, Cherry class have been researching and exploring South American foods, as part of their DT topic. They have researched the different types of foods that are eaten in South America, as well as sampling some popular foods from this continent.

The children then had the opportunity to design and make their own taco, and most importantly eat it!!! The children developed their chopping skills, as they had to prepare all the ingredients themselves. The children were really adventurous when tasting different foods and actually were surprised with how much they enjoyed them. I am sure the children would love to recreate their tacos for the rest of the family!!

Today, we have had our Bishop Fund Event, raising money for ACN. We have been overwhelmed by the organisation and the generosity of the children – we know that this doesn’t happen without a lot of support from home too! A huge thank you to everyone.
