This week we learnt about being a team player, understanding sometimes we win and sometimes we don’t how it’s the taking part that matters. We have had a go at different team games and physical games where we have worked on taking turns and sharing.
We loved taking part in sports day and cheering each other on.
As the summer weather appears to have arrived we have been talking about sun safety. We will be outside a lot and we want to protect your child in the summer weather. Please can you ensure your child has a sun hat with them each day. We do have a box where they can leave a named hat to use throughout the week should this be better for you. As the weather is hot children need to have their water bottles with them for us to keep refilling with water throughout the day. Can children please wear t-shirts that have their shoulders covered and apply suncream. If you want to send in their suncream we will reapply it throughout the day.
We hope you all have a good half term break and we look forward to a busy half term before the end of the school year.
