It may seem that we have been a little quiet lately, but don’t worry we have been super busy behind the scenes!!!
Over the last half term, we have been gathering ideas from all of the class, as to what events and fund raising ideas they would like us to organise. Our first event, today, is an own clothes day, in order to raise additional funds for more playground activity, for all the classes to use during lunchtimes.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be busy organising the Bishop Fund event – the first one in two years! This year, we will just be opening it up to children in the school. Each KS2 class will be getting together in small groups to plan out their stalls – I am sure you will here about this from your child! All children from KS1 and KS2 will get the opportunity to explore all stalls on Friday 1st April. What out on the newletter for more details.
In addition to these, we are also going to be having a National Superhero Day – where the children will have the opportunity to dress as a superhero of their choice, in exchange for a small donation. We will be running this event alongside Children’s Appeal at Lancashire Teaching Hospital. This will take place on Friday 29th April. We can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes!!!!
Many thanks
