Telling the Time, Emailing and Saying No

What a busy week we have had in Beech Class.  The children have really enjoyed their Forest School sessions and our space dance is coming together nicely!

In maths this week we have been learning about time; reading and recording time to 5 minutes past and solving problems involving the months of the year.  We also investigated how long it took to do certain things.

We have learned all about emailing in computing, talking about what an email is and why they are useful.  We then had a go at writing and sending our own email.

We have started our next story about Bob Man on the Moon.  Please ask the children about what has happened to Bob in this story!

During our HRSE we talked about the word no.  We had a great discussion about when it is O.K. to say no to both adults and our peers.  We recognised that sometimes it is harder to say no than yes.

Well done!
