We have all enjoyed our history topic on The Great Fire of London. This week we took the houses that we made in the style of homes from 1666 to the fire pit. The children eagerly arranged their houses explaining that they needed to be close together because that is how they were at the time. The children helped to choose which house would be the bakery shop in Pudding Lane as the starting point for our fire. We had a slight breeze and the children were amazed at how quickly the fire spread from one house to the next.
