This week we have worked hard inside and outside. We have acted out the story in the three little pigs houses that we made. We have written the story and written speech bubbles for the different characters. We have learnt about capital letters and full stops. We have built our own buildings using sticky playdough as cement. We have made wolf and pig puppets. We have also learn all about subtraction. We have learnt to use our fingers as counters and to use objects when we are taking away from larger amounts. We have played subtraction games and we have solved nature subtraction problems outside.
Some children are still finding letter formation difficult. Please encourage your child to complete their letter formation sheets at home. If your child has completed the letter formation sheets already they could write with a stick in mud, or with their finger in flour or in shaving foam. There are also letter formation activities on the Purplemash platform.
