It has been lovely to be back in school this week after the half term break and see so many smiling faces.
Today we have been completing our History topic, All about Castles. We have put the different types of castles on our timeline and learnt about some famous battles that took place.
The children then made their own shield, designed with their own coat of arms. We then used these to re-enact the Battle of Hastings. Unfortunately, we ran out of time, but we will complete the last scene on Monday, where we will build our own castle to celebrate our victory! Stay tuned for more pictures.
