What a week for Elder and Cherry!

Elder and Cherry have had a very busy and exciting week! On Thursday afternoon, they headed off to Ewood Park in Blackburn to take part in the Let’s Go Sing Music Festival, along with lots of other schools. They performed to a huge audience and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They have been rehearsing for months and it was a fantastic experience for them, to show off all of their hard work.

This morning, we had a further practice of the songs, as we have been invited to sing at Sharoe Bay Court next week, as the residents have their garden party, we will be providing a little light entertainment for them – keep your fingers crossed for dry weather. I am sure they will bring a smile to everyone’s face yet again.

Today, we have also been celebrating Super Hero Day – the children (and parents) have made a fantastic effort, and it is wonderful to see people’s imaginations coming out in their costumes. As you are already aware, donations collected will be given to the Royal Preston Hospital, supporting the care given to children.

Those Year 5 children unable to attend last nights performance, started our next computing unit, exploring the world of coding!
