Whatever the weather we can learn while having fun and how fantastic it was in the rain and mud we’ve had during the week. We have had a great time puddle jumping exploring ripples, the height we can jump and how we can make the splash height change. So of us had a go at worm charming either stamping or sitting in the mud clapping on the ground to see how many worms came up to the top of the earth. We managed to have some ENORMOUS worms come to play with us.
We have been exploring building techniques throughout the week using different resources and have starting creating a natural wind break/ fence using old branches and sticks. This is going to make a great environment for wildlife to rest in. This project has been great for encouraging teamwork with the children needing to use their language skills as well as their muscles and problem solving.
