We had a lovely visit to Williamson Park and the weather was good so we managed to have our picnics with a great view over Morecambe Bay.
The children were introduced to a variety of animals and enjoyed the opportunity to hold or stroke them. They enjoyed exploring the butterfly house to find caterpillars and eggs and were amazed when the butterflies rested on the adults.
We had time to explore the wooded area in a hunt for mini beasts.
The children were fantastic and were able to share their knowledge of animals and ask relevant questions.
