Willow Class had a fantastic day at Williamson Park. Most of the children bravely held the cockroach, snail and Strawberry the corn snake. They then enjoyed exploring the butterfly house and finding out about the life cycle of a butterfly. We explored the wooded area to hunt for mini beasts and we were all amazed at the amount of mini beasts the children found. After a very busy morning we enjoyed our lunch and then entered the Ashton Memorial and listened to the echos we made. A visit to the park and the opportunity to complete some geography fieldwork where we used a compass to record what we could see at all four points of it made the prefect end for our visit. .
