We had a very special visitor this week and met an author. The children loved the story about Bertie the blind bat and have made a thank you card for Joanne. They are looking forward to her next book and have sent her some ideas for new characters that she could use. We would like to say a big thank you to all the people who came in to share a story with the children.
In English we are continuing to enjoy our story ‘Hop toads and Pearls’ and have been deciding on new characters for our own stories. We have began to make puppets to help us share our stories with our friends.
Thank you for all the lovely baby photos and timelines. We have had great fun trying to work out who is who.
On Friday we started our new art topic with the children drawing a self portrait.
