WWI Visit

We had a great afternoon on Tuesday, in our WWI reenactment. The children were put through their paces as soldiers and learning all about the living conditions on the Western Front, in the trenches. The had the opportunity to dress up in authentic WWI outfits, look at a range of artifacts and learn more about WWI, first hand. This was a brilliant way to immerse ourselves into our WWI topic and develop our knowledge.

On Wednesday, we took part in a Dance workshop as part of our Well Being week. At the end of the day we put it all together for a whole school performance – it was a fantastic performance. Doing something we enjoy and taking part in some physical exercise is a great way to keep our bodies and minds healthy and happy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday for our Open day. It was lovely to see many of our current parents supporting our community.
