Year 6 – “Giant leaps often start with small steps” Queen Elizabeth II

What another busy week we have had! We have spent time completing our assessments and then launched into our new topic. We have made the most of the great weather this week and created timelines outside to represent our time on earth – what great questions you came up with Year 6, I can tell this is going to be a great topic! We started our place value work in maths – investigating number and the value of each digit.

We have also had election fever in school this week with the speeches and elections for our Head Girl/Boy as well as our four house captains. Congratulations to all of the children for showing confidence, kindness and resiliance throughout the process.
