This week we have been finding out all about Nelson Mandela and the sacrifices he made as well as the resilience he showed to ensure that there was greater equality in South Africa and all over the world. We will be using our research to write biographies next week but have made a great start today with the opening paragraphs! In RE we have been exploring the liturgical year and how we, as a school community, celebrate and prepare during the different seasons.
I have been so impressed with how the children have showed kindness to others both inside and outside of school and it was great to see our act of kindness tree full this week! A big well done should also go to our sports teams this week who have represented our school with pride and come away with great results – congratulations.
