Year six have spent the majority of this week outside. We started the week off with our final bikeability session. I was so pleased to have such positive feedback from the instructors for how well the children listened and responsed to the tasks set – what an important skill to master. On Tuesday we then had our Viking and Anglo Saxon day. We spent the day cooking on the open fire, weaving, orienteering with runes, dying material with fabric and designing Viking ships and villages. Take a look at the pictures below to see some of the tasks that the children completed.
We have had lots of discussions about Borwick Hall this week and I know that the children are getting very excited! If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to be in touch.
Have a lovely long weekend with your families and I shall see you all on Monday.
